Abstract:
The given research paper deals with the study of complicated connections between academic education and job examinations in Bangladesh. Even with the steady growth in the availability of education, it is clear there is a distance between academic education and employment needs. The paper critically analyses the role of education system, job recruitment processes, and socio-economic conditions of having a total impact on the reality of the students and the graduates. Applying the mixed methodology of the research, the study examines structural flaws in academic curriculum, the increasing value of competitive employment test, and the disparity between academic credentials and employment. It also examines the psychological, social and economic impact of lengthy preparation on getting employment both in the public and the private sector. The findings imply that although academic schooling offers theoretical background, professional mobility is subjected to job examinations, and knowledge may be of little performance as the academic schooling ignores practical knowledge. The paper concludes by suggesting changes to be made to curriculum structure, the way of conducting the tests and the hiring policies so that education can be made relevant to the world
